Advancetown Property Market Summary

Real Estate Agents Advancetown

The best Advancetown Real Estate Agents sell properties considerably better than industry average figures, no matter whether it is in Advancetown or the Guanaba-Springbrook area or all of QLD. We detail who these Advancetown agents are in our free report.

Importantly it is the performance of the individual real estate agent rather than the agency used that matters. Vendors should only use those Advancetown agents who routinely deliver superior results for their clients. This is crucial to maximise their chances of securing the best possible price for their Advancetown property.

While we can review agent performance right across the country, we suggest focusing on those individual real estate agents in Advancetown or the 4211 postcode and immediate surrounds.

Suburb Overview

Advancetown is a small outer suburb of the Gold Coast in South East Queensland. It is situated in the Gold Coast hinterland. At the 2006 Census the population was 360. It is the location of the Advancetown Lake and Hinze Dam, which supplies water for most of the citizens of the Gold Coast.

The suburb was part of the Shire of Albert until it was amalgamated into the Gold Coast City in 1995.

Hinze Dam sits on Advancetown Lake and the Nerang River flows to and from it. Hinze Dam was first completed in 1976, providing a storage of 42,400 million litres of water to surrounding residents. Since then there have been 2 significant upgrades;the first in 1989 increasing the storage to 161,070 million litres of water and the second in 2011 increasng the storage again to 310,730 million litres of water. It reportedly cost 395 million dollars AUD. The dam is also popular with water activities.
